Cold Days in Nebraska
Published by Jenny May 14th, 2006 in FamilyWe’ve made the 800+ mile trek north with a baby in tow for the first time. Olivia did very well and slept most of the driving time (which meant she didn’t sleep when we got where we were going, but I guess that’s better than driving with a crying baby). It’s been super cold up here (60s) compared to what we left (90s) and even though I brought Olivia’s "winter" clothes, I had to borrow a jacket for her from her cousins. Brrr! In just two and a half days, we’ve seen Great Grandma Hatt, Grandma & Grandpa Kane, Uncle Nathan & Aunt Trish, Uncle Adam & Aunt Rachel, Uncle Matthew, Uncle Zachary, Great Grandma Andrews, Great Grandma & Great Grandpa Stara, Grandma & Grandpa Andrews, Uncle Galen & Aunt Lisa, and cousins Abby, Andy, Alex & Ben!! We’re looking forward to all of our time together the rest of the week.
PS Happy Mother’s Day, Mom! I love you!!
