Not Complaining, But Maybe Bragging
Published by drozmonkey September 8th, 2008 in Day to DayJenny had the urge for Chinese food tonight so we went out to Pei Wei. The food was good and the girls were garbage disposals. When we got home Jenny’s hips were really hurting so she grabbed the heating pad and laid down on the couch. That left Olivia, Molly, and I to take baths and get to bed. But I’m not complaining. Actually, the girls and I have become pretty good buddies since Mama’s been out of commision, which sometimes is a little bit of a rub for Jenny. Thirty minutes after I started the bath water running, both girls were sound asleep in their beds in the same room. It doesn’t always go that smoothly, but I’ll take it while I can get it.

Hey J.R.
We will just let it go like this for about 14 more years and check back with you on how the girls listen to you, and how backward you will become by then.
Good luck! You will need it.
As always
Grandpa Andrews
You are on the right path!! In my experience I always found that the kids went to bed much easier if just one parent does the job. It is also my experience that the kids go to bed much easier if the parent putting them to bed is NOT ME!!!!! Can’t wait for the new baby!!!
Love,
Aunt Lisa
Oh, man…Grandpa Andrews scares me with his reminder about what girls will be like in 14 years (a little less in our case).
Glad you guys are getting along so well now because it’s a good start for when Mom and Baby are busy nursing, sleeping, etc.
We’re praying for a safe and healthy delivery for Jenny and Baby #3. Hope to hear good news soon!
