Maybe I should keep my clocks on regular time. It would really be nice to have a one hour buffer with the rest of the world. I can’t count the number of times I needed an extra hour before an appointment or meeting friends for a playdate (especially when I was hosting the playdate) . . .
After observing how pleased Livy was wearing the Camelbak we took camping this weekend, I thought perhaps I should just strap a full Camelbak on each of them at the start of the day . . . would keep them properly hydrated and I wouldn’t have to refill sippy cups untold number of times . . . on second thought, it might cause more accidents & diaper changes – definitely don’t need any more of those unnecessarily . . .
My children excitedly drink V-8 in small cans – there must be a medal I’m eligible for out there somewhere – we call it “tomato pop” and they think it is a special treat. I should be offering this ‘treat’ more often.
The fact that I’ve gotten confused about “real” time and “new” time more than 5 times today makes me think living on a different clock than the rest of the world may cause more harm than good . . .
