Because I know y’all are in the winter Olympic mood I had to pass this along. I learned via Facebook that Justin Semin is participating in the Polar Plunge this Saturday. No it’s not a new event in Vancouver. It’s a fundraiser for Special Olympics Nebraska where crazy people take a plunge into frigid Holmes Lake. In the process of donating to sponsor Justin I looked at his team’s page and found that Zach Fenton is also on the team. Justin is an old high school friend of mine and we know Zach through Jenny’s brother Nathan. I can’t say we were surprised to find either one of these guys doing something crazy, but we were glad it was for a good cause so we had to sponsor both of them. Feel free to sponsor them as well.
