First Day Swim School Tears

Today was Molly’s first day at swim school and she was pretty excited. It was actually an advanced class which she was trying since she hadn’t taken a “Water Babies” class where she would have been in the pool with a parent. The other kids had been going for several weeks and not all of them were as excited to be there as she was.

Molly was quite enthusiastic from the beginning. (She may have been reminded by Livy that candy would be used as a motivational incentive.) But she may need to work on holding her breath since almost every picture I took ended up with her tongue hanging out.

We did have our share of tears though… which came when it was time to leave. A good problem to have. Needless to say, Molly as accepted into the Super Water Baby class!

It looks to me like Molly will be a good candidate to go fishing with Grandpa in the Republican river one of these days!

    Love Grandpa

What fun for Molly! Benett will be starting swim lessons next month. Hopefully he enjoys it as much as Molly. :)
