As I’m getting the girls out of the bathtub tonight, I scold Molly for trying to stand on the side and jump off (all while holding my hand).
“That’s dangerous,” I say, “You could fall and crack your head open and we’d have to go to the hospital.”
“Would it be really bad?” asks Livy.
“Yes, really bad,” I say.
“So bad people would bring you presents?” Livy asks.
It’s a thin line between genius and psychopathy.
I’d say it’s problem-solving on the part of the only girl who didn’t recently have a birthday and get presents!
Love it!
Oh my goodness. How funny! Always thinking, those smart little kids.
I think she’s got good problem-solving skills–remember she’s the only girl who didn’t recently have a birthday and presents!
Hmmm…don’t let your daughter give my son any ideas…he loves presents!
