The dolls thing only gets better. Our girls were given bottles for their dolls and asked to feed them. They looked up in confusion, put the bottles down, and “nursed” their babies. Just wait!

UPDATE: I was just looking at a slideshow of papal visits to the US and I think I missed one of Nathan’s trips to see the Holy Father. He also went to St. Louis in 1999 to greet John Paul II!

I remember having exactly the same feelings and situation when JPII came to the Living History Farm in Iowa in 1978. I wanted desperately to go but had 2-year-old Rachel and 3-month-old Jenny to consider. Sleeping outdoors overnight on the ground would have been a challenge, to say the least!

So glad you’re feeling better. It’s so hard when your little ones are sick–and especially when Mom is too!!
Anxious to know if your new little angel is a boy or girl. I just keep praying you get through all this OK and the baby is healthy. I’m sure my prayer will be answered and all will be well. You’re a wonderful mother and JR is a great father.

The girls are growing up so fast! We can’t wait to see you all again in person! After the big kids headed for school Ben asked if Aunt Jenny, Livy and Molly can come over to our house and play the Wii with us. Sorry Uncle JR, I guess Ben figures you have to stay back in TX to work! We are looking forward to playing with all of you in May!!!!

I’m glad everyone there is feeling better. Thanks for the baby update! It’s nice to know *exactly* how my baby is developing, too. You just don’t read the books religiously the third time around. We have our ultrasound on Saturday. So, though we’ll see our baby first, you’ll know the gender of your baby first. Anxious to hear what you’re having! Will this be your little boy?
